Create a Basic Quote Widget
Configure the host URL, brand color and pricing options. Choose a printing process (only one) and select an existing Machine, Configuration and Material to be used for estimations.

Embed the Widget
After configuring your widget you can either embed it in your website or online store or share it with your customers as a standalone webpage. A detailed embed guide can be found here.

HINT - Multiple Widgets
Creating different Basic Widgets and embedding them in different parts of your website can help your customers even more!
For example an SLA Basic Widget with Casting Resin for jewelry makers, FFF Basic Widget with TPU for flexible objects, etc.
The same applies for the Widget language – for example French widget and English Widget

Patiently wait for a Quote to arrive
You can test your Basic Quote Widget by submitting a quote. After you make sure all works fine, all that is left to do is to focus customers’ attention towards the widget and wait for quotes.

Receiving a quote
Once you receive a Quote, you will be notified via email and the Quote will appear in the BuildPlateZ Platform. From there you can review its details.
You can add the models from the Quote to your Models library, as well as create a Client from the customer’s details. After contacting the customer and finalizing details about the Quote, you can create a Print Job with finalized settings and link it to the Quote.

A Customer uploads files to the Basic Widget
A customer visits your webpage and decides to use the Basic Quote Widget. He uploads up to 5 .stl files and provides his contact info.
At this point no data is permanently stored on our servers.

Price Estimation
The uploaded by the client models are estimated and the price is shown. If the customer has added less than 5 models he can add more before submitting the Quote.
For FFF printing the uploaded model is automatically oriented to the most optimal position.

Submitting the Quote
Once the customer submits the Quote, he receives an email containing all the Quote information. Depending on your Subscription Plan, the email may be branded specifically for your organization.
You will also receive an email and see the submitted Quote in the BuildPlateZ Platform.
At this point the submitted Quote data is stored securely on our servers.
